TINA/Spice/UCC28700-Q1: Simulating TI PSPICE model with TINA or WEBENCH

Part Number: UCC28700-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI, UCC28700

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

I would like to simulate the UCC28700 with the PSPICE model provided by TI.

The model provided by TI is in .lib format. Is it possible to use TINA or WEBENCH to simulate this model? or is it necessary that i must get PSPICE to simulate this?

Thanks

  • Hello,

The model you got from web  is PSPICE model; While the  PSPICE netlist  (.lib) and TINA are  compatiable, you still need to have the unecrypted .lib file to import it  in TINA and create TSM for further use.

Unencrypted models can be optiained from your local TI representative  with appropriate  NDA number.

    Kind Regards,
