Hi guys,

I am now using the ADC ADC161S626 to do a simple simulation, my input to the ADC is a sine wave. However, as you can see from the output part of the sine wave is disappeared. So my questions are:

1, How should I adjust the circuit to make the output wave complete? The circuit is attached.7506.Separate Excitation and Ref (Ideal).TSC

2, Is there any ADC model in Texas instrument where I could get the output wave directly instead of connecting a DAC behind to show the output wave?

Hello Haoyang,

ADC161s626 is an ADC so naturally it will generate digital bits; we have added a generic DAC just to help to reconstruct the input signal.

The model works for signals b/w GND to 5volts, you can not apply signals that are below GND as the internal opmap of ADC can swing between GND and positive supply.
