TINA/Spice/TLV8811: Model may not be routing current properly

Part Number: TLV8811
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

hi team,

Ive been working on a low side current sense circuit utilizing the TLV8811 as a gain of 50 inverting amplifier.  To make a long story short, in tracing down leakage currents during a condition where the INA+ input is pulled below ground through a resistor, I noted that current is going into the INA+ pin as expected but, no equivalent amount of current ever exits any other pin on the device.  I suspect that the model is likely utilizing the 'zero' node (ground) as a protection diode return path since no equivalent amount of diode protection current comes out any of the other actual device pins.

I'd like to confirm that this is the case, and ideally we should plan to update the model so that the protection diodes are modelled correctly.

thanks!
