TINA/Spice/BQ25570: pSpice bq25570

Part Number: BQ25570
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Dear colleagues,

Im develloping an application circuit which the main purpose is to charge a battery (Li-on)  from an magnetic source. After, the aim is to put a load that works at 3.5V.

I have designed the circuit using a pspice model, however some of my results are not consistent with the data i should get. The problems i find are

  • The Vbat_ok is always off, even the battery its fully charged. I tested in other simulations.
  • Is it normal that the 1F capacitor starts charging from 0seconds time?

In the other hand, regarding the Vout, the Vout (PINK) is on from the moment that Vstor =Voc_sample reaches the voltage reference: Vbat_ok_hyst (3,4V set by me). This result is consistent with the literature.

(To simplify the circuit Im using an 1F capacitor instead of a lithium Bat.)

I would like to have your help regarding this issue, I cannot figure out what is missing.

Thank you in advance!
