Hi all,

I try to implement this source for our sensor. we need to have 0,5-8mA at the Sensor. I don´t know if it is really good to use this component, maybe it is better to use the LM317. Or something completly different?

What is the desired output voltage?
What is the minimum and maximum input voltage?

Hi Ronald,

i have solved the problem already, it was the wrong ic... i work at the moment with LM317, but the LM is very noisy, do you have for this a solution?

The output is upp to 24V by max. 8mA. input voltage from 16- 32V

Rainer,

It is incorrect to short ADJ and OUT pins of the LM317.
A linear regulator can't output 24V with a 16V to 32V input.
For a linear regulator VOUT will be less than VIN.
