How does one delete myriad "My designs" in Webench?

Q1) There is no obvious way to delete all the "My designs" in Webench. I did eventually find a method (can't recall how now) to do this before, however when I log back in, they all reappear.

Q2) Seems like the smart-switcher selection in Webench is acting quirky today. I selected 3V in, 5v out @ 0.2A and the selected parts were all rated for 20A.

    Hi Jeff,

    I think "Delete All Designs" was deliberately left out as it could be an issue if someone accidentally deletes all their designs. You can still clean up individual designs if needed by clicking on the Red 'x' button under "My Designs".

    Regarding the 2nd questions, can you tell me which device you are referring to?

    Same question - I can't figure out how to delete one of the 10 designs that seems to be saved at random points.

    You mention this can be done from "My Designs" - where do I find this window/tab?

    I think that Webench may need a clearer Open and Save interface.

    Laurens,

    There are several ways to access your designs. First, from the WEBENCH® panel:

    Simply click on the My Designs shown. A list of designs will appear and you can select Delete to remove the design (right hand side of the list).

    If you are already inside of WEBENCH®, you can see your designs here (upper left hand corner of the window)

    A list of designs will appear and you can delete any design by clicking on the red x at the right hand side of the list as shown

    Hi, thanks. I eventually found it.

    UI problems:

    1. On a 1280x800 screen the bottom left "Save" area is hidden

    2. Save is bottom left, 'Open' is top left - I would expect these to be grouped together (like every other application that I use)

    3. Every time I change something in Schematic (a slow process) it takes me back to the Summary screen, so that editting some components to reflect the design I have on the bench takes 10mins instead of 10seconds.

    Actual bugs:

    4. Trying to select an alternate MOSFET part for my design just seems to hang the system with a "Loading Alternate Parts" pop-up (for 3+minutes)

    5. The waveform editor, changing X-axis in Bode plot (log) doesn't seem to correctly interpret the input data. (e.g. start from "200" starts instead from 1e3...

    Hi Nikhil.

    I'm trying to clear off my old designs and I cannot see a way to do it.

    Here is how My designs looks like

    There is no red cross to delete.

    The only action is Open design.

    I get the same page in either Chrome or Internet Explorer in a Windows 7 machine.

    Lorenzo,

    Deleting a design is only available once you are inside the tool. For this, once you click on "Open design" for any one of the designs above, you should have the tool open up automatically >> Click on "My Designs" on the top left corner. From there you should be able to delete the designs.
