WEBENCH® Tools/TPS57114-Q1: Switching frequency on the WEBENCH

Hi,

How should I change the switching frequency setting on the WEBENCH?

Though there was the window to change it on the left side of the screen before, its window is nothing now.

Hi Kuramochi,
When you are looking at the WEBENCH Power design SUMMARY view, please check the left side of the page. In the place where the frequency setting used to be, there should now be a link to "Use Advanced Options >>." Click that link. The frequency control is there, along with other options for setting up your design.

To change the target frequency, click the box for "User Preferred Frequency." Then in the Frequency box, enter your desired frequency. The Circuit Calculator will adjust the switching frequency to be as close as possible to your desired value, while keeping the IC under its maximum temperature.

Thank you for you answer.

I could change the fsw setting.

I have an additional question.

Simulation cannot be executed on following condition.

VinMin :3V, VinMax :3.4V Vout :1.21V Iout :3.99A Fsw :2MHz

Why is this?
