WEBENCH® Tools/LMR14050SEVM: Webench or Tina pre-configured circuit

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

I'd like to know if a Webench or Tina circuit (simulator netlist/input deck) based on the LMR14050SEVM Evaluation Module (EVM) has been built by TI and can be loaded by a user as a starting point for a design.  This would eliminate mistakes and speed my design effort.

    Hi Chris,

    There is a PSPICE model for LMR14050S which is configured as the EVM.   Also in  WEBENCH, you can start with the EVM conditions for Vin, Vout, Load and FSW and this will give you a schematic that is close to the EVM schematic. From here, you could simply change the components to match the EVM and also export it to TINA if you want to.

    Thanks for this reply Lakshmi.  Two questions still:

    1. When you said "There is a PSPICE model for LMR14050S which is configured as the EVM."    
         Do you mean that it has all the components of the EVM (ie. as the BOM page 6 of the user's guide)
         or is it a model just for the LMR14050S integrated circuit only?

    2. Will the model you referenced (as a link) work in TINA or just in WEBENCH?
