WEBENCH® Tools: FilterPro (WEBENCH Active Filter Designer) for Cut-off Frequency Higher than 10MHz

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Dear all,

Firstly, I am a graduate level student from Singapore and I am in charge of designing channel selection filters for low-IF transceiver systems.

I would like to design a low-pass analog filter using FilterPro software by TI, however, I am not able to enter any cut-off frequencies higher than 10MHz (10000000) on the software.
I need to design different filters with cut-off frequencies of 20MHz, 40MHz and 80MHz.

Is there any way to change the settings of the software or any other solutions you can suggest?

    Hi Baris,

    Yes, the frequency is limited to 10MHz. There's no way to get around it. Nevertheless, I think you know what I am going to suggest:) As with filters, it is pretty straightforward to scale the component values to suit different frequencies. There should be equations you can find for the topology you choose.
