Hi,

I am looking for 3 kind of automotive DCDCs to fulfill 3 design target:

1. buck-boost : 3.5~40V in/5V 15A out. in 12V vehicle system;

2. buck : 6~40V in/5V 15A out. in 12V vehicle system;

3. buck: 9~60Vin/ 5V~15A out. in 24V vehicle system.

Or do you have solution that make a simple add-on module in front of item 1,2 above to support 24V vehicle system?

Here are the designs which can be used for your automotive application listed below.

Buck: 9~60Vin/ 5V~15A out. in 24V vehicle system: ti recommends to use LM5119-Q1

Buck : 6~40V in/5V 15A out. in 12V vehicle system: ti recommends to use LM5119-Q1
webench.ti.com/.../SDP.cgi

We do not have a solution for the buck-boost for the exact requirements in the WEBENCH tool. But, with 8A Iout for the 3.5V-40Vin, 5Vo, we would recommend you to use LM5175-Q1 design for the buck-boost output.
Buck-Boost : 3.5~40V in/5V 8A out. in 12V vehicle system (8A)

Thanks. For the 3.5~40V operation condition, I think we could use a preboost+buck solution.

Hi Zhao,

You can decide the voltage and current requirements for the stages of the preboost + buck solution using the WEBENCH power designer single output tool as we are not able to recommend solutions directly for such solutions using Power Architect.
