WEBENCH® Tools/TPS53667: Change of inductor

Part Number: TPS53667

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

TPS53667 is multi phase controller.

I can't change inductor value of all phase. Because the other inductor value return to default value when I change one inductor value.

Could you fix this phenomenon?

    Hi Kohei,

    We are not observing this issue on Webench.

    Please find the below steps to change the inductor value.

    a. Go to BOM and click on "Select alternate part" for L1 as shown below.

    b. We see a tab where you can select different Inductor values. Please click on "select" option whichever value required as shown below.

    c. You see a pop up window ,Just click ok as shown below.

    d. Now you have completed the selection of different value of inductor for L1. Repeat the above steps from a. to d. for selecting different inductor values for L2,L3 etc.

    Kumar-san,

    I don't think my problem is fix.
    I could change L1 , however L1 returned to default value when I changed L2.
    I would like to change all inductors from default.

    Hi Kohei-san,

    I was able to change all the inductor from default values.

    Could you please confirm the following ?

    1. Are you updating the design after each changes in inductor. Kindly donot click on "Update" button after each selection of BOM. Below is the snapshot FYR.

    2. Will it be possible for you to briefly describe the steps being followed for changing the inductor ?

    3. Could you please share your design so that we can verify if the issue is design specific ? Below are the steps to share design

    Using condition,
    Vin: 12V
    Vout: 0.7V
    Iout: 120A
    Fsw: 300kHz
    6phase
    I would like to change inductor to "FP1007R3-R15-R (150nH, 290u Ohm)"

    I could change all inductor from default after sharing design.
