WEBENCH® Tools/TPS564208: TPS564208

Part Number: TPS564208

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hello all,

I am using TPS564208 circuit as per the webench suggestions i am using 33.2 K resistor as a feed back to get the output voltage 3.6V input is 8.4 V and output i achieved 3.6 V that is fine as per my torch requirements, input and output capacitors aluminum electrolyte 47uf/25V.

My torch is taking 2A current, but through this circuit i am not able to operate torch on 2 A current, only up to 1 A only get it but as per data sheet it is giving 4A output current.

What values i have to change to get output current up to 4 A,  any suggestions

  • R Joshi,

The design from WEBENCH is following guidelines and looks fine. Would it be possible to share more information like actual schematic, BOM and any PCB layout files? I have requested the product expert to take a look at this and they might ask for more information from you to help debug the issue.

In addition, to be sure we have the design details from WEBENCH, can you please share your exact VinMin, VinMax, Vout, Iout and any other advanced inputs you might have specified. You can also share the design using the public URL option.

    Regards,
    Amod

  • Hi Joshi,
I found you asked the question in another E2E thread. Please change the Cout to ceramic capacitor. And please attach the Vin, SW, Vout waveform for better analysis.
