filter pro value changes
I am trying to do some scaling of component values in the filter pro. I click on the component ,enter the new value and the design goes right back to the old value. This is on a windows 7 machine. There is no apparent way of changing component values. any ideas?
After entering the new value in the textbox, do you press <ENTER> key? If so, and it still doesn't work, would you please attach a screenshot and/or your design file here so that I can troubleshoot further?
OK, I must be working too late. I forgot to hit the enter key after making the change. works fine now. You might add that instruction into the help section, as i have another filter program that does not require the enter command to change the part value, hence my confusion. thank you Faisal
Thank you. That is good feedback. We will make the documentation updates to clarify this step.
We appreciate your feedback.
I had the same problem. I looked at the help screen and it had these instructions:
Items in blue are available for editing. Change the component values by hovering the mouse cursor to the value of the component and clicking it. You should see a box around the number in blue. Enter the value that needs to be changed.
I guess it might be implied that after you enter the value you want you should hit "ENTER" but I guess since you are using the mouse button to click on the value it seemed that you should click the mouse button after you changed the value also.
