It doesn't look as if the TPS51116 is in SwticherPro today. The best place to keep up with what parts are in SwitcherPro, is to look at the SwitcherPro overview page , in the "related products" section. Thsi is updated whenever new products are added in SwitcherPro.

the best way to send a design to another user in switcherpro is to go to the info tab. There you can input the target email address of the other user (catch, it must be the email address as recognized by the switcherpro system, not just some email address. it must be the one they log in with.) Put...

jatan, try sending the design to me. I'd like to see what inductor and cap you used. It's possible that the default component selection isn't ideal in terms of efficiency. heath@ti.com

technically we don't show peak current anywhere in the tool. This would be a good thing to have I think.

I am using a TPS54331 switcher and am seeing noise in the form of regularly spaced (1 us), 100MHz damped sinusoidal transients of about 500 us in duration on the output. I used switcher pro to design the circuit which lists the cross over frequency as 1.7KHz and the phase margin at 86 degrees. To isolate...

Our new version v3.2 will show up on the web on Friday July 31st. This bug is fixed along with many others. Basically with this part you can't change the compensation, because it's internal. So no matter what design happens you'd get this warning. We had a single open loop error amp gain...

Ahmed, the decision was made to discontinue support for our older tools since SwitcherPro has much more functionality and features. I checked this design with the online switcherpro. I got a completely different schematic and result with 70 deg of phase margin. I will forward this to the software design team. The graphs are generated with Vin = minimum so in that case the duty cycle is somewhat high and there is a fair amount of slope compensation added in. Slope compensation makes the powerstage gain take omore of a voltage mode characteristic with the roll of greater than -20 dB / decade and teh phase decreases...
