DLP2010: What LEDs are used in the DLP2010EVM (Lightcrafter 2010)?

What LEDs are used in the DLP2010EVM (Lightcrafter 2010)? Would like to know their datasheets and specs.

Need to have them disconnected from the EVM PCB and driven manually so would like to know their recommended V/A rating for continuous operation (not modulating).

    Thank you. It seems from the datasheets that they both have 100-500mA forward current and up to 1A forward current pulsed. So I guess this diode can be operated in continuous mode rather than just pulse as the ratings are mentioned explicitly in the datasheet. Right?

    Can you please explain your application for which you want LED to operate continuous.

    For DLP chipset, It doesn't make sense for LEDs to operate continuously.

    Its simple, I need whitelight monochrome projection. The DLPC3435 and DLPC3470 allow monochrome projection with only one of the LEDs being modulated, not all 3 at the same time at 2880 Hz.

    Hello Armen,

    In DLP2010 EVM Led current is controlled by DLPA2005. So please look in to this document point 7.3.2 and 7.3.3 will give you the idea how LED is control by DLPA2005 : www.ti.com/.../dlpa2005.pdf

    Next - DLPA current is handled by DLPC3435 controller. So this controller sets the Duty cycle for each color and enable the RGB LED's using LED_SEL[1:0] bits. You need a white light monochrome which needs all primary colors to be turn on, so when you set white image then DLPC3435 selects the LED_SEL bits to enable RGB current.
