    Hello Zach,

I was able to confirm the issue on my EVM. I will investigate and get back to you mid next week with an update.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

    Hello Kyle,

Have you had a chance to look into VSYNC no longer being available after updating the splash images? Please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Zach

    Hello Zach,

We have begun looking into it but have yet to find the root cause. It will probably take a couple more weeks before we have an update. Are you able to work around the problem for the moment by not changing the splash images?

    Thanks,
    Kyle

    Hi Zach,

I just wanted to let you know this issue is still on our radar. In the meantime I'm curious to know if you have considered the DLPC3470 controller for your final application with structured light? I know you mentioned you were aware of it but weren't currently using it.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

    Hi Kyle,

Thank you for the update. The DLPC3470 is the controller that is designed into our hardware. At the moment we are not ready to have boards fabricated which is why we are working with the DLP EVMs for the time being.

I will continue to monitor this thread for updates.

    Best regards,

    Zach

    Hello Zach,

Thanks for confirming. So in your final hardware you do not expect this to be an issue? In other words, the triggering capabilities of your DLPC3470 should provide the needed signals and VSYNC on the test point is just for debugging?

Either way I'll let you know as soon as I can about an update.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

    Hello Zach,

Are you able to confirm that the DLPC3470 is going to be used with the final hardware and therefore you do not expect this bug to affect your final product?

Obviously we would still like to get this fixed. I can confirm it is on our software teams scope; however, they will likely not be able to address this with a fix before the end of this year. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

    Hello Zach,

I am going to tentatively close this thread. Please monitor the DLPC3470 page for the next software update.

    Thanks,
    Kyle
