DLP4710: connecting 80 pin 104060-8017 Molex

Part Number: DLP4710
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC3439

Hey,

Can anyone help me by providing a pin connection guide for DLP4710 when connecting it to 104060-8017 Molex?

Thank you,

Gergely.

  • Gergel,

    Welcome to the E2E forums and thanks for your interest in our DLP products.

    Have you checked the reference design we provide for the DLP4710EVM on TI.com? You can find the TI Design page and the reference schematic below:

  • Dear Philippe,

    Thank you for the quick reply.

    I checked the reference design and the schematic, but there is no information about the DLP4710 chip pin connections.

    So can you provide me a pin connection guide between the dlp4710 -->DLPA3439 (master,slave) .

    For example:

    DMD_HS_WDATA_A_N------>D_AN(4)

    Thank You,

    Gergel

  • Gergel,

    The information you are looking for can be found in the DLPC3439 datasheet (Table 9, Section 8.3.10) and the DLP4710 DMD Datasheet (Section 5).

    To be clear, there are multiple pin mapping options that can be used to configure the system. Hence there are mutiple mappings described in the datasheet. Option 1, for example, shows the following mapping:

    MASTER ASIC:
    ------------------
    M_HS_WDATA_D_P --> D_AP(0)
    M_HS_WDATA_D_N --> D_AN(0)
    M_HS_WDATA_C_P --> D_AP(1)
    M_HS_WDATA_C_N --> D_AN(1)
    [...]
    M_HS_WDATA_E_P --> D_AP(7)
    M_HS_WDATA_E_N --> D_AN(7)

    SLAVE ASIC:
    ------------------
    S_HS_WDATA_D_P --> D_BP(0)
    S_HS_WDATA_D_N --> D_BN(0)
    S_HS_WDATA_C_P --> D_BP(1)
    S_HS_WDATA_C_N --> D_BN(1)
    [...]
    S_HS_WDATA_E_P --> D_BP(7)
    S_HS_WDATA_E_N --> D_BN(7)

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards,
    Philippe Dollo
