Hi,

Let me talk about DLP6500BFYE.
I guess DLP6500BFYE can not implement to board directly.
It means it need socket.
Is it correct ?

and If yes, My customer think about this socket.

Part number is 2041549-1, provided TE

Is it available to use this socket for DLP6500BFYE ?
If you know other part number, Please let me know.

Hello Hiroyasu-san,

Yes, a socket is required for this DMD. The DMD cannot be directly mounted to the board.

The part looks similar, but I think it is for a different DMD. Please allow a day or two for verification.

I finally found the document I was remembering:

http://www.ti.com/lit/an/dlpa067/dlpa067.pdf --> Item number one at the top of §7 on page 9 is the socket (part # PZ35021-2641-01H from Foxconn).
