DLP4500: Changing from the inbuilt LEDs to a CW laser input

Part Number: DLP4500

Hi,

I would like to build a single pixel setup using the DLP Lightcrafter 4500, with the DMD illuminated via a collimated CW laser input (638nm). I have managed to take the light engine out, as per https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POEKXTIH3Y8, but I realise that all the optics is glued down. I would like to remove some of these optics for my application - does anyone have any advice on how to do so? Or if am I doing entirely the wrong thing for my application?

Thank you!

Kind Regards

Cheryl
