Part Number: DLP6500FYE

hi,ykc

I am very confident that my connection is correct(DLPC900 to  DMD), but now there is no display.

Attachment is the drawing of my redesigned connection cable.

Can switch DMD working mode through GUI   but there is no display.

I have sent the file to you by private message.

I am looking forward to your help.

Best regard,

Byron

    Hi Byron,

There is a UART port on board. Use Pin J6.2 to see UART debug messages.
Please provide a log of that after power cycle.

Also in your schematics please check SSP0_TXD and RXD
Looks like Controller TXD is connected to DMD TXD
Its should be Controller TXD - DMD RXD
    Controller RXD - DMD TXD

  • In reply to ykc:

The connection here is correct, both the DLPC900 and the cable are Pin to pin connections, and line-order switching is performed on the DMD side.

Please provide uart debug output and check for various DMD voltages.

    VOFFSET: 8.41 V

    VRESET: -9.99 V

    VBIAS: 16.18V

    Looks normal.

    Debug information for a while.

No information is output from the uart, and no information is captured using the oscilloscope.

    In reply to Byron:

That's not possible if GUI is able to talk to controller and controller is running. Please share GUI snapshot when controller is connected to PC.
Please Use USB-UART device to connect to uart tx pin of controller board and use teraterm on PC to log these messages.
It prints SW version , DMD type etc.

    ykc,

My mistake, the serial port tool has a problem, I changed the new one.

    Hi Byron,

From log it seems clear that SCP interface is working fine. Controller is able to detect DMD. I have sent you a message in private.
