Hi! I'm Migu

Now, The DLP3010EVM is undergoing various tests.

I want to know if gamma correction is applied to the video mode of DLP3010 EVM.

If gamma correction applied, how do i disable it?

  • Hello MinGu,

There is gamma correction for the standard video mode. Are you asking about the pattern streaming mode? I believe gamma correction is disabled but I will have to confirm. Or are you wanting to use the standard video mode but without gamma correction?

    Thanks,
    Kyle

    Hello Kyle.

I'm want to use standard video mode without gamma correction.

    thanks.

    Hello MinGu,

I discovered in standard video mode we do not generally support removing gamma correction. Could you please describe your use case and why you want to remove this feature? Perhaps we can help you find an alternative solution. In pattern streaming mode we ensure a linear transformation from input to output without gamma correction.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

    Hi Kyle,

If so, i can use the the pattern streaming mode.

I downloaded the GUI program for DLP3010(LightCrafter3010).  But i can not find pattern streaming mode.

How can i use pattern streaming mode?

  • In reply to MinGu Kang:

    Hello MinGu,

You will want to download the GUI at www.ti.com/.../dlpdlc-gui. You can find help information available in the GUI and in this user's guide: www.ti.com/.../dlpu074.pdf

    Thanks,
    Kyle
