DLPDLCR2010EVM: DLPDLCR2010EVM NOT WORK

Part Number: DLPDLCR2010EVM

We ordered DLPDLCR2010EVM in January but it did not work. So we received a new DLPDLCR2010EVM in March, but it still does not work. We used a 5V adapter. We request custom service for problem solving .

Hi Hyeonju,

Can you elaborate on what you mean the EVM not working? Does the EVM power up but not project anything when switched on, or does it show no signs of powering up?

Dear Azad When we received evm and give power when it show 1 green led, then I connected hdmi . It doesn’t work. So i checked power. It is over 6A. So I stopped test. Please check power with upper board. When detached upper board , that time the ampere is under 1. Also i toggle that white switch. It doesn’t work

Hyeonju,

Please ensure that you're following the steps mentioned in the DLPDLCR2010EVM User's Guide Quick-Start Procedure to power up the EVM. The User Guide is available here: www.ti.com/.../dlpu027d.pdf

Please do not power up the EVM with any of the components disconnected, this can permanently damage the board.

I contacted the local TI office in Korea.
But I heard that there is no repair shop in Korea.
As mentioned above, I followed the user's guide but it does not work.
what should i do?

Hi Hyeonju,

TI doesn't offer repair service. If you have received a faulty EVM please contact TI customer service for a replacement.
