DLPLCR6500EVM: Cannot connect to computer via USB

Today when I started to use the DLPLCR6500EVM as usual, I cannot connect it to my computer via USB. And I can hear a beep sound from it after power is on.

what should I do to make it work?

Hi,

After power on when you connect it to PC. Does device manager recognize the device connected ?

Update the problem description: The device can now connect to the computer, but the EVM is stuck on the standby mode even though I change it to normal mode. Similarly, it remains in video mode and I cannot change to any other mode such as on-the-fly mode. Once I click the 'on-the-fly' button, the button returns to video mode in the 2-3 sec and without any prompts.

I would be very glad if I can get any suggestions or solutions to this problem. Thanks!

Hi ykc.
I have already read this page, but the problem seems different with us because there is no prompts like ''Unable to switch to video/pattern mode, Error: Invalid DMD or Controller'.' in my case. Besides, the D8, D9 LED are keeping green while D6 is blinking after power on.

Another situation is I can only connect to the computer via USB after I pressed the reset button on the board. otherwise, it shows disconnected after power on and only D9 and D8 LED are light while D6 is dark.

Hi Dongsheng,

Please post the screenshot of GUI front page when usb is connected.
Also try reprogramming the EVM using boothold jumper J11 in case firmware has corrupted.
