DLP5531Q1EVM: Control Program's I2C communication

The DLP5531Q1EVM comes flashed with the current version of embedded software. Can you confirm what version you flashed to the EVM? Was this issue happening before or after you updated the flash?

Ok, thank you for the update. I need to do some investigation. It looks like the software is generating too many clocks but I'm not sure why. I'll need to see if I can replicate the issue first. I'll try to provide an update early next week.

I have asked Cypress, but I have not received a reply from Cypress for more than 1 week. I want to try another IC. Which "USB to I2C" ICs have "Control program" support, can you help confirm?

Hi Samson,

The only USB 2 I2C chip supported in the control program is the Cypress. If you would like to use another device then you would need to write your own command handler software. The I2C command interface is fully described in the DLPC230 Programmers Guide http://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/dlpu048.
