I want to get the signal from the trigger out2 when the dlp3010 project patterns we set in advanced,the setting of the software is attached.

Its weird that the function generator displayed 3.3v whether we project patterns,in my opinion is that function generator will display 0V if we do not project patterns,

it seems that the signal can not output normally,so that we can trigger our camera to take photos ,is there any other setting we need to do in the software or if our dlp3010 is broken?

Hi Sheng,

Could you please confirm which firmware version you are using? And did you measure the output voltage of trigger 2 before connecting it to the camera? It would be good to ensure the signal is being outputted as expected before we look at the external camera. Lastly, can you use the internal trigger in first to confirm the output trigger works then we can try the external trigger in input?

the firmware version we used was 5.2.0, the output voltage of trigger 2 before connecting it to the camera is about 3.3V, we just measured pin1 and pin4 of J4 ,now our dlp3010 do not connect to the camera ,we just want to measured the signal when dlp is projecting.

How to use the internal trigger to confirm whether output trigger work or not?

Hi Sheng,

Were you seeing the trigger2 out before connecting to camera ?

This problem looks like the note mentioned in user guide, please look at the page no. 8 section 7.3 of user guide. All the jumper configuration should be connected for light control application.

yes,all the jumper we have been set but the output signal voltage decreased and output voltage less than 3V so that the camera could not work,how do i resolve to problem with the voltage decrease?

TRIG_OUT signal (3V) is less after connecting the camera or before that ?

HI,Vivek,

I sloved the problem already,but now i have another problem ,the signal can not sync with the camera,when the camera get signal from projector then take a photo,the photo is wrong,camera can not capture the correct fringe patterns which i projected.

how can i solve this problem?

Hi Dino.,

Could you please be more specific about "photo is wrong"? Is there camera is not in sync with the trigger? Is there a delay?

It is very likely camera set-up issue. You may want to reach out camera manufacturer to address is issue.
