DLP2010EVM-LC: DLP2010EVC-LC Communication error

We cannot connect to DLP2010EVM-LC by the control program. When we cilck on the Get button on the program we get "Failed to write to I2C port via Cypress USB serial adapter." error (see picture below). What is wrong? We used to communicate with it before.

Has anything changed since you last used the system? Have you installed new firmware to the board?

Hello Phillipe,

Thank you. No, as far as we know, we did not install new firmware. But when we try to connect, the program should tell us what firmware version we have. if there is a way (like Window's Device Manager) to check this we can. We tried different USB ports.

Hi Cem,

There isn't any other way to get the know the firmware version other than the control program.

When you power on the EVM are you able to see the Splash image? If yes, please click on the text " EVM Status: Connected, Powered off ". By doing so you will be able to reestablish the communication.

Helleo Mayanik,

No, we do not see any splash screens. This way of communication is taking very long without a solution. We used to have verbal help and even a joint remote session to diagmose the problems. Can we please arrange one? We are desperate.

Hi Cem,

Can you check whether you are able to download the latest firmware version on the EVM, this will let help us figure out the cause of communication error is the current firmware or some other hardware bug.
