DLPDLCR660TEVM: How to use DLPC4422GUI1.0

Part Number: DLPDLCR660TEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLP660TE

Hello, TI.

I have a question from Korea.

We purchased DLPDLCR660TEVM products through TI.

I'm doing a test one by one, looking at the guide, and there are a few problems.

The first problem is that the switch button on the DLP board is reversed.

The second problem is that I can float a test pattern, but I wonder how I can use the binary image I want to use.

Do you have any more links or guides to refer to? Or I wonder if there's a place to get the coding.

I wonder what external input should be done if external input mode is used.

I wonder how the 4422 board uses the V by one and how the 9 pin d-sub works.

Thank you.

  • Hello Hyunho,

Apologies for the delay.  Some recent changes in E2E caused your message to get missed.

It has been properly assigned now and should be responded to soon.

  • Hello Hyunho,

Thank you for using the DLP E2E forums.
We understand that there are issues in the user guides, we are planning on updating it soon.

And I believe you are asking for a custom test pattern? Different from the ones already available in the DLPC4422GUI1.0?
If that is the case, then unfortunately there is no method available for you to load in your own custom test patterns.

What you will need to do is to use an external source in order to use your own custom images. In order to use an external source, you will need to acquire a front-end card that has a V-by-1 interface, that is also configurable to output the timings that are specified in the provided "DLP660TE_Vx1_Input_Video_Timings" excel document.

    Regards,
    Oscar
