DLP470TP: Any plans for a new chipset which won't use an FPGA?

Part Number: DLP470TP

Hello,

I have been in contact with one of your optical module providers for a long time regarding a 4K DLP module. There is a wall we have hit with not being able to meet our price goals due to the cost from the extra DLPC and FPGA. While the image quality of DLP470TP is great, we just can't get it to an affordable price point for our target consumer market.

Are there any plans for a revised 4K chipset which won't use 2 DLPCs and an FPGA? From what we gathered DLPC6421 was actually made for the 1080p chipset and repurposed for 4K and FPGA is just there to make it work.

Thank you.
