DLPNIRNANOEVM: Webpage freezes after first click

I've followed the below quick start steps but get stuck at the webpage:

1. In it, it states to connect the power supply into the power connector, A green LED and a blue LED should light.  Done, and LED'S light as stated.
2. Next, it instructions me to wait about 10 seconds for the cuvette holder to light up. This happens as stated it would.
3. It then tells me that after about 13 seconds the green LED will start flashing, this also starts to flash as expected
4. It then states that after about 40 seconds the Blue LED should start to flash also, and once again, this step proceeds as expected.
5. I'm then instructed to connect a mini-USB cable from the NIRscan connector labeled "14" to my computer. 

I'm told to open a Browser and navigate to http://192.168.0.10 , this is where things start getting flaky. At first I'm returned an "unsecure" message from Chrome Browser, I select to ignore it and attempt to reload, and it will finally connect. I select the option to go to the information screen and from that point on the browser reacts to nothing else.

I disconnect everything and repeat the whole process over, but this time, select another option and once again, from that point on, the interface refuses to accept any more input, I am unable to navigate back to the home page, nothing..

Any ideas on what's going wrong here?
