DLPNIRNANOEVM: Sample spectra of any minerals with DLPNIRNANOEVM

Dear DLP support team,

Is there any examples of the spectra of rocks or minerals obtained with the DLPNIRNANOEVM?

For example, I am interested to classify some of the carbonate group of minerals (calcites, dolomites),

as well as other rocks and minerals which have major spectral features in the NIR region is a result

mostly of water and hydroxyl groups vibrations. The major question is if the DLPNIRNANOEVM spectra could

reveal those features. It would be great to see a real spectral data before purchasing the spectrometer.

Hello Igor,

TI does not have any scan data to share. The DLPNIRNano EVM has the following specification:

Wavelength Range - 900 to 1700 nm

Spectral Resolution - 10 nm

Signal-to-Noise Ratio - 6000:1 for reflective head.

Will such spectral EVM meet your requirement?

TI provides only the EVM hardware and an user Interface tool to use this device. For your application, Chemometric software may be helpful.

Please do reach out to our ecosystem partners like Analyze IQ, Saggito and Camo for such tools and library. In fact, they may have experience with DLP EVM for your application.

Hello Igor,

I am not sure if our ecosystem partner will have scan data on EVMs. They do provide standard spectrum libraries. You may want to talk to Saggito , they have very extensive development experience on the EVM and may be able to share their experience.

As mentioned earlier, TI does not provide any spectrum library or Chemometric software.
