DLP3010LC: DLP GUI : "Flash Builder returned with error code 12"

I am using the DLP3010LC GUI, version 2.2.0.6. I am trying to make an updated flash image, that contains some new internal patterns.

I have gone through the steps to create a pattern binary, that I have saved to file.

I have gone through the steps in the "Firmware" section, in order to Update Flash Image. I am using the base firmware input called dlp3010evm-lc_7.3.2.img

As I go through the final step and push "Finish", I get the following error code:

"Flash Builder returned with error code 12"

The GUI does say that "Flash Image Update Completed", but no output is written to file.

I have tried various options searching for something that does not give the error, but I have not been successful.

So my questions:

* What does error code 12 mean?

* How can I avoid it?

I tried reproducing the issue but I am able to build the image successfully without facing any errors.

Can you please let me know what type and number of patterns does your pattern binary contain. If possible kindly share the pattern binary, i will try to build the image using that binary.

I also have a colleague that is able to make the flash creation work, but it still doesn't work on my PC.

My questions are still:

* What does error code 12 mean?

* And how can I avoid it?

Hi Oyvind2929,

It will take some time for me to exactly figure out when and why error code 12 occurs.

For now, I would suggest you to reinstall the GUI in order to overcome this error. I am suspecting that due to some reason your GUI might have got corrupted.

Since I am not able to reproduce this issue, its difficult for me to figure out the reason behind Flash Builder Error code 12.
