DLP4500NIR: Window efficiency

Part Number: DLP4500NIR

Hi,

We are using 767nm laser with DLP3000 and DLP4500NIR for laser beam shaping. I am wondering how the power efficiency differs in the two modules. How different is the mirrror reflectivity and the window transmittance for 767 nm laser?  Thanks!

Best,

Allen

  • Hi Allen,

I assume that when you say "power efficiency" you are referring to optical power, not electrical. In that case, the main issue you'll have between these two devices is the window transmittance. At your wavelength, the DLP3000 will have a window loss of about 10% (Figure 13 in the DLP3000 datasheet) and the DLP4500NIR will have a window loss of about 4% (Figure 6 in the DLP4500NIR datasheet).

Hope that's clear, let me know if you have further questions.
