Light Animator cannot be opened

Hello:

We have a digital light projector, CEL5500 by Digital Light Innovations. We want to use LightAnimator software <LINK REMOVED> help control the projector.

The light animator GUI cannot be opened for some reason.
An error window pops up, when we try to open it:
Generic Application Error!

The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.

Anybody has experiences with using the LightAnimator, know what causes the error and how to solve it?

Hello Yuzhen,

LightAnimator is not a TI software and you must contact DLi the seller of the kit:

Please note that DLi licenses the software from the creator of the software:

I have removed the download link in your original message, since this IP belongs to a third party and is not free to distribute. It likely does not work because it may require a key or license code.

I have contacted Optecks that is responsible for Light Animator. After completely cleaning up the older installation of the software, and reinstalling the one they provides, everything is back to normal.
