DLP LightCrafter Conection error=5

I'm trying to connect the DLP Light Crafter Evaluation Module to its software and have been unsuccessful. Whenever I press "connect" a message saying "connection error=5" appears. The system I use is Windows 7. I have seen that a lot of people have had this same problem. However, I've done every suggested and I still haven't managed to connect the DLP lightcrafter to my computer. Changing the IP address has not helped. So any new Ideas apart from the ones already proposed, that would be nice

  • Maria,

Thanks for posting in the DLP forums, sorry that you're having trouble with your Lightcrafter. Can you please answer the questions from the post header?

    Include in the subject line:
The part number or full EVM name
A concise but specific description of your problem. Generic subjects such as “help” or “DMD Issue” will delay a timely response

Include in the body of your post:
Any Texas Instruments software that you may be using and its version
Indicate the system type (Windows, Linux, etc.) and its version
Indicate any additional hardware used (cameras, optical engines, etc.)
Indicate whether the system uses custom code, a modified TI reference design, or an unmodified TI reference design

Most importantly – include a detailed description of your issue and provide:
    Initial symptoms
    Test case
Number of impacted boards or systems
    Pictures or screenshots where applicable

    Thank you,
    Paul
  • I have done the necessary changes to my post and I am yet to hear back from someone.

    Please help,

    Maria.

  • Hi Maria,

I don't see the changes that you've made, I'm sorry. Could you post the information in a new post? Are you still having your issue?

    Paul
