Booting Lightcrafter from SD card

A customer has built their own hardware of Lightcrafter.

They plan to boot Lightcrafter from SD card not from NAND device.

They have following questions about booting from SD card.

-Is the Lightcrafter application code booting from NAND and SD card completely same?

-Do they need to mount NAND device when booting only from SD card?

The application code is not exactly the same. In the software bundle provided on the lightcrafter page, you'll find a NAND version and an SD version of the .dat file required for booting.

You do not have to mount the NAND device, you can boot only from an SD card. Follow the instructions given in in section 2.13.2 of the Lightcrafter user's guide and that will give the customer a good place to start understanding the process.
