Expect time from of Brightness Change

Hi,

Would you please advise if you have a measured or an expected "time" of LED brightness change which is from setting I2C 0x12(or 0x13,0x14) address to corresponded LED PWM be reflected?

This may varies by LED driver design so your Reference Design "Lightcrafter 3000" data will be helpful for us.
Our design is taking 200ms and we think it takes too long time.

We do not have this data on hand although anecdotal experience is that the time is fast.

Do you have a Lightcrafter you can do this test with yourself? If not, I'll need a few days but I might be able to get the data you're looking for next week.

Dear Paul,

Thank you for your response. We do not measure with Lightcrafter but we did with our design(DLP3000/DLPC300) that took 200ms. It seems too long time. Therefore when you measure it please let me know the reference time.

Unfortunately due to the way the Lightcrafter EVM is constructed, I'm not able to probe the pins I need to get an exact time for you. A rough estimate of the time from clicking the button on the GUI to seeing the light change is approximately 50ms. It happens almost instantly.

Thank you Paul. It seems our 200ms is bit longer and could be shorten the time.
