    I cannot currently build your request because it is impossible to have all the LEDs on at the same time in the Lightcrafter EVM. Can you please specify a different pattern?

    Something like: 33 x 1bpp G, 33 x 1bpp B, 33x 1bpp R w/ exposure = 3333us

    Thank you for creating Pattern Sequences file.


    I used the Pattern Sequences file that you had made.
    However, patterns did not appear in the order as wished me.
    Would I mistake how to make the image list file?

    I would like to make the following.

    1. The LightCrafter irradiates with 23 pattern images in red, blue and green of each color.
    2. The trigger signal is outputted each time the three patterns is irradiated.
    3. The "trigger period" is 32000 usec.


    How can I achieve the purpose it?
    Help me.

  • If I understand correctly, you'd like just one trigger after each set of R, G, B. Unfortunately, the way the Lightcrafter EVM was designed, this is not possible. If you had an alternate LED driver design this might work, but it's one of the limitations of this EVM.

  • This type of triggering configuration is only possible with video data being streamed into the device. For a pre-stored pattern mode, you'll get a trigger after every 1-bit plane. Section 4.2 of the user's guide shows an image like you've posted.

    I think that the DLPC300 is needed in order to realize Section 4.2 of the user's guide.
    What is the DLPC300?
    Dose LightCrafter EVM have it?
    Or, is it an additional option?

  • If you are using the Lightcrafter EVM, it has the DLPC300. For proper operation, all DLP systems must have a controller and for the DLP3000, its controller is the DLPC300.

    To achieve what you're looking for, you'll have to stream your data in via the video input. That's the only way the triggering works like you want it to. With a pattern sequence mode, you will get an output trigger after every pattern.
