DLPC300: RNDIS Driver origin Win 7 and Win 10

Part Number: DLPC300

In my computer, when connected DLPC300 automatically loads RNDIS driver by Acer (V1.0.0, 1/13/2010), But since my Win OS is 7 (pro), I can also load MS version of this driver (V 6.1.7600.16385, 6/21/2006). Which one should I use? It seems in Win 10, the only available driver is that of Acer's.

  • Hello Danny,

Thank you for your reply. My question was about which driver, Acer or MS, to use. It seems that TI also supplies another RNDIS driver which makes this issue more complicated. I guess, if the Windows detects the LC, and installs a driver automatically, we should use that one as long as LC works. But in some computers with WIn 10 OS, windows cannot detect the LC and cannot install the right driver. Strange enough, I experienced this problem on an Acer computer with Win 10 installed! I had to download the Acer RNDIS driver to connect to LC.
