DLPLIGHTCRAFTER: Boot problem

Part Number: DLPLIGHTCRAFTER

Its stuck at 95% on device boot. D1 is always red.
Already read all posts about this problem. I tempted to boot from micro sd card and to erase and update NAND using the software avaiable in DLP lighcrafter software bundle. It will always stay at 95%.

Need you resposnse to determine if there is a solution or it is an error from the product and send you response to Tech Support from Farnell.

  • Hello User,

Welcome to the forums and thanks for your interest in our DLP technology.

Can you explain what you mean by "Need you resposnse to determine if there is a solution or it is an error from the product and send you response to Tech Support from Farnell."

  • Hello Philippe.

I'm a software developer in Grupo PIE Portugal and we are developing a hardware that use dlp lightcrafter. When we where doing some tests when this issue happend. So we contacted our supplier (Farnell) to send the device for the warranty. In response, they said to contact you (TI engineers) and ask if this problem can be fix by me or its a product issue that only can be solve by sending the lightcrafter to his producer.

  • Hi Joao Pontes,
    >>When we where doing some tests when this issue happend.
I suspect it developed malfunction during the operation, one reason why it is getting stuck and D1 showing RED, means DM365 getting stuck during the boot process, you can get the UART log from the LightCrafter, there is 3.5mm UART jack, you can collect the log and attach it here, we can take a look at where it failing. I am presuming the kit was working out of the box and developed malfunction during the usage, check for the warranty and repair. Before that send us the uart log.
