DLP4500: Triggering Camera

Hi,

I am currently facing a problem related to frame loss with the synchronised camera.

The camera is triggered by the DLP to capture images for every pattern image stored in the flash memory.

360degree views of the object is to be captured by projecting two patterns at each degree. Hence totally 720 images is to be captured by the camera.

But, currently camera misses a few frames and eds up capturing varying between 710 to 718.

What could be the exposure settings required to rectify the current problem.

Thanks in advance!

Rashmi

  • Hello Rashmi,

I have created a new thread to address your issue separate from the previous thread. What is your current exposure and trigger timing settings? It sounds like it may be possible your camera hasn't finished capturing/processing the previous image and is therefore not ready to capture the next image. A solution would be to display the patterns slower or to have the camera trigger the projector.
