Hi,

Let me talk about Length Routing between DLPC350 and DLP4500 again.

My customer is planning to use Flex cable.

I post this.

and I understand this length is defined in datasheet

At their responsibility, They will evaluate this.

I understand they should watch AC characteristics and DC level.
Could you tell me other points they should watch and Past trouble If you have.
Please let me know some advice ?

Hiroyasu-san,
Those are the only key care about, if they are able to ensure signal integrity for 120MHz bus then they can evaluate their design.

Hi Hiroyasu,
You can refer to DLPC350 controller datasheet, Table 20. Signal Length Routing Constraints for DMD Interface. So far i haven't come across customer having used larger lengths the specified in the controller datasheet. You can talk to TI DLP design houses who are working on this chipset.

Hi Hiroyasu-san,

Let me check about actual measurements but definitely TI spec confirm the DLPC350 controller & DMD interface at this trace-length should work.
