DLPLCR4500EVM: DLPLCR4500EVM

Part Number: DLPLCR4500EVM

Hi all,

I've run into an issue when calibrating a camera that we have paired with this projector. The projector is not correctly displaying the calibration images.  It is showing the default image in place of the calibration grid that it should be showing at this stage.

One question I have is really what could cause this problem?

The main question I have is where are these images stored? How can they be accessed and can they be replaced to ensure that they are not corrupt?

And finally, where can I download these images so I could upload them to the projector?

Thank for any help.

Best Regards,

John

  • John,

If the system is not displaying calibration images, you could be having a problem on the EVM side or the PC side. Have you checked the documentation on our TI-Design for point cloud creation? It provides some information on calibrating the system:
    www.ti.com/.../dlpu019a.pdf

The calibration data is stored internally to the ASIC, so they should not be "lost" or "corrupted" unless there is a problem with communication between the EVM and PC.

    I hope this helps.
