Compiler/DLP4500: About DLP4500 c++ sample code

If I replaced the optical engine from DLP4500 LightCrafter by an UV LED.

How can I control the DMD to load and project pattern(image)?

How can the DMD receive external trigger and synchronize with my CCD?

Because I remove the light engine, I think I can not use the GUI interface of DLP4500 LightCrafter.

And I seemly see someone who can write c++ program to control DMD.

I have referred DLP Software Development Kit (SDK),but I think it just do the environmental setting. I still do not know how to operate.

I expect I can use/quote c++ sample code (maybe some function I can quote into my c++ program ) to achieve my goal.

Do TI release any similar sample code?

The DLP4500 Lightcrafter is intended for use with visibile light sources, and is not directly compatible with our UV LEDs. You will experience reductions in lifetime performance as such.

Otherwise, operation of the LightCrafter 4500 EVM is consistent for loading patterns. You can use the LightCrafter GUI for this, which is available on TI.com:

But sorry, I seemly confused with LightCrafter 4500 EVM(DMD/LEDs).

Do you mean if the light source I changed is visible but not UV, the LightCrafter 4500 EVM still can be operated by LightCrafter GUI?

I think the product include DLP 0.45 WXGA chipset, DMD controller board, power supply and the cable to connected chipset and system board.

Can the product be operated by LightCrafter GUI?

Or does LightCrafter 4500 EVM can be operated by LightCrafter GUI, if LEDs do not connected?

Hello,

The EVM may be operated as long as appropriate LEDs are connected. If UV LEDs are connected the system will experience reduced lifetime performance. The EVM/GUI will not work at all if the LEDs or optical engine is not installed to the system. These components are required for the system to boot.
