DLPNIRSCANEVM performance

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPNIRSCANEVM, DLPNIRNANOEVM

Hello customer, customer ask for the performance (speed) of the DLPNIRSCANEVM or in general of DLP spectroscopy. His challange is a fast moving object. He judge that he needs 10KHz.

Regards, Holger

  • Hi Holger,

The DLPNIRSCANEVM uses a transmissive type scan utilizing a cuvette, so it's not well suited to high speed. Perhaps your customer is more interested in the DLPNIRNANOEVM?

Could you please elaborate on what your customer is requiring? If they would like to take scans of 10,000 objects every second, neither of these EVMs is going to be right for that application.

Our DLPNIRNANOEVM allows you to set the scan time and there is potential to get scans somewhat quickly. However, by design this system is based on sweeping through the wavelengths using a single point detector as opposed to a "one-shot" type measurement you might see in other systems which use an array detector.

Any clarification you can provide would be helpful. Hopefully we can find the right solution for you.
