Hi All,

Thank you for your time. My customer has a question about the Grating of DLP® NIRscan™ Nano Evaluation Module. They can't find the part in the BOM which name is GRATING (33A12BF01-640R -- Newport gratings) manufactured by RICHARDSON GRATINGS.

So I want to make sure whether the part number is correct and where can I get this grating. Please provide some contacts or link for me.

Thanks for the question. I see what you are saying that PN is no longer listed on their website. I will follow up with our optics group and see if there is a drop in replacement. I will get back with you soon!

Here is the info I got back from our optics specialist:
Product list (640R):

Grating specs:

Available overstock parts:

• Both aluminum and gold coated versions are available. Our system used aluminum because it is more inexpensive, although gold would have a higher efficiency.

The important specifications to match if it is being replaced are:
• 300 grooves per mm
• 1.2μm nominal blaze wavelength
• 10.4° nominal blaze angle
• Dimensions: 8x8x3mm
