Hi ,

I am having trouble finding battery ( Tenergy Li-Polymer 3.7V 1700mAh (103450) Battery) for our DLPNIRscan Nano EVM. I've contacted All-Battery.com but they sell it in a quantity of 5000 units. I only need one. The NIRscan Nano EVM comes without the battery, right? If so, where can I get just one or two batteries for this unit?

Hello Derya,

Thanks for using the DLP forums! You are correct the EVM comes with out the battery. You could look into a very similar part from them like this 2200mAh one that can be ordered individually.

I just realized though. This battery you suggested in the earlier post has dimensions ( 925050) that are different from the original suggested battery (103450). Would it fit into the module? I haven't received my module yet, so I don't have an idea of how battery would sit in the module.

I am not sure how either battery would sit 'in' the module, but the dimensions are definitely something you would want to take into consideration.

Most users start with using USB connection to a PC. This will power it and provide a good platform for interacting with the device. Once you have your hands on the device you can see what size battery, if any, you want to use.
