abnormal peaks: mirror broken?

Our DLP NIRscan nano used to work properly. We are now facing abnormal downward peaks in the spectrum at regular intervals. We have been using the spectrometer to measure fresh chicken in a petridish, but also see the downward peaks when just measuring our hand. We have bought the device earlier this year. Would you have any explanation for this? There might be a mirror broken? We bought it earlier this year and would like a repair, a refund or a replacement.
