Hello,

I am testing out 6 patterns using the followings settings:

  1. Mode: Strucutred Light
  2. Data Source: Static Image Buffer
  3. LED Illumination Time (Camera Exposure Time)=1659us.
The timeline appear as shown below.
However, I have some questions about the load time and what the timeline depicts and I am wondering if someone can share some insights:
  1. It seems like the x-axis are represented in units of microseconds. The DMD load depicts that the load period is about 230us. However, every time I click the 'Compile & Play' button, it seems to take at least 2-4 seconds to load the full 6 images - much longer then DMD load time. What is the relationship between DMD Load time and the actual time to load all 6 patterns? What can I do if I only want to load the images for the 1st time and then pause so that all the subsequent repeat of the patterns can be played out without waiting 2-4 seconds?
  2. The Red, Green, and Blue LED are enabled at 60% strength. I would expect that if 6 patterns are used, the ON state of all LEDs should occur 6 times during camera exposure time.  However, the timeline diagram seems to depict only 5 ON state during the exposure time. Perhaps, I don't fully understand the relationship between my LED settings and this timeline. Can someone elaborate? What dictates the duration of each LED ON states? It seems like each ON state have variable duration? (I apologize in advance if I don't fully understand how LED are used)
  3. What are the units of all the y-axis of the timeline. For example, is the y-axis of Syncs timeline represented in volts and each tick mark means two volts? How about the tick marks for the illumination timeline? What do each represent? LED strength in %?
Thank you!
Ku
