hello,sir:
Such as the instruction as shown, the resolution of lightcrafter is 608*684, so the project out of the image like a square, but in fact, the image projected is a oblong shape, and how change the resolution of lightcrafter?
thanks,sir.
apple~
you can make some changes using the GUI provided by TI.
Hello Apple,
The default resolution of the Lightcrafter is 608*684, which is the native resolution of the DLP3000 DMD. The projected image looks slightly stretched due to the Diamond pixel topology of the DLP3000 DMD. More detailed information about this pixel configuration is provided here, link.
DLP3000 chipset also supports WVGA, VGA and QVGA resolutions. You can upload the images set to the required resolutions in pattern sequence mode and Static image mode.
For Video mode, use the right EDID and change the resolution on the GUI.

hello Divya,
thanks for your replay, i also have another question, how can i control the power switch of the lightcrafter by software?
Apple.
I am inclined to say that this functionality is not feasible, but I will follow up with the software team and update you.
Thanks for your patience.
Here is an idea to change the aspect ratio of a DMD. For example, you could change the 16:9 aspect ratio to 4:3, or even 1:1 (square). The secret is anamorphic lenses.
