Hello guys,

I have just connected LCr into LCr GUI, and upgrated all the firmware. And by almost all the display mode it works good, but only by mode "pattern sequence" it comes always  error message: "paket continuation error 1". Anyone knows the reason?

Thanks a lot!

regards,

Di

Does anybody have the same problem? When i switch the display mode in pattern sequence, and press "set",

an error message appears:  "paket continuation error 1".

Can anybody help me to solve this problem?

    Thanks,

    regards,

    Di

    Hi Sanjeev,

I have the latest version, which uncompressed  in the  "DLPLightCrafter_FW_SW_v1.1_2012_07_19.zip" file, and i have upgrated all the firmware.

    DLP LCr GUI: 3.8

    DM365: 2.5

    Thanks for your time,

    Di

    Hi Di Zhang,

The DM365 appear to be old. Can you double check? If it is still returning 2.5 then it looks like DM365 firmware is not upgraded. There has been changes in the TCP command packet structure so the new GUI 3.8 not compatible with older DM365 verion 2.5.

Ok. Do one more thing, use the old GUI version and try repeating you test, it should work.

    Regards,

    Sanjeev

    Thank you for your help,

    Di

    Di,

You can use the GUI you were using before DLPLightCrafter_FW_SW_v1.1_2012_07_19 update.

In the new release they have put a know issue as

"Command Error" failure when changing the pattern sequence from higher to lower bit-depths in Pattern Sequence mode

Are you trying to do the same thing?

    Regards,

    Sanjeev

    Sanjeev,

I have solved this problem without using the old version.

I have just used the micro SD to update the DM3562.5 to 3.31.

    thank you very much!

    regards,

    Di

    Hi Sanjeev,

For some time I have been having the same problem. When trying to set to Pattern Sequence Mode, an error message prompts: "packet continuation error". The versions are as follows:

    DM365: 2.5

    FPGA: 2.4.39

    MSP430: 2.4.

    How can I resolve that?

Another problem I am facing is that when in static image mode I display an image and then another one, smaller, I see parts of the first image together with the second. It seems like that for the "black" pixels of the subsequent image, the projector would still display those from the previously loaded image.

    Thank you for your time.

    Kind regards,

    Jordanka

    Hi Jordanka,

Consider updating the firmware to latest version http://www.ti.com/tool/dlplightcrafter Install  DLP LightCrafter Firmware and Software Package  Version 1.1

    Sanjeev

Hi Sanjeev and thanks for the reply.

I finally was able to start the projection in pattern sequence mode, but it is with random success...and as I wrote in the other post, images are projected as negatives - what should be dark is bright, what should be the contour of the image - dark. I don't know if our projector is a defect one, but as well the booting is with random success. When switched on one time and then switched off, we should wait at least an hour to be able to use it again. We are using the recommended power supply of DigiKey and have never disassembled the projector, the switch is towards the DMD, not towards the uSD card.

Once it is able to boot again, I will upgrade the firmware as you suggest...

    Thank you,

    Jordanka
